The mural depicts the active role that Kindree learning community takes in protecting the environment by recycling and planting trees. For that reason, a tree was the central image of the composition. Showing its growth from a seed was essential to represent taking steps towards something big, in this case, to help reduce global warming. To support the conceptual idea, the addition of recycling materials in the design of the mural was an important part of the creative process.
