“The Art of Language”

The students of Modern Languages collaborated in the creation of 3 panels depicting the richness of language rooted in the art, architecture, music, literature and philosophy that originated from the European cultural region. Each panel represents the power of the arts in each of the three more influential European cultural centres: Italy, Spain and France, home for many of the greatest thinkers and artists of all times.
The first panel contains an excerpt of “Inferno” from La Divina Comedia, by Dante Alighieri:
“Nel mezzo del cammin di vostra vita
Mi ritrovai per una selva oscura
Che la dirrita via era smarrita”
On the second panel, we find one of Salvador Dali quotes: “Yo creo en la magia que en ultimo termino, es simplemente el poder de materializar la imaginacion en la realidad”
The third panel contains a citation de Antoine de Saint-Exupery: “Voici mon secret:on ne voit bien qu’avec le Coeur. L’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux”
